DESIGN
This two-hour meeting may be all you need to help you initiate plans for your project. I offer advice on paint colors, finishes, space layout, and more.
Alternatively, this meeting can be the first step in establishing the scope of work for your project with your needs in mind. I’ll discuss ideas and your investment amount to create a plan that will turn your vision into reality before proceeding to the next level of service.
HOME STAGING
If you’re selling your home, but don’t want to pay for staging, this two-hour consultation can be invaluable. I will go through your house and let you know the steps to take to prepare your house for sale using your own pieces.

DESIGN and COLOR CONSULTATIONS
Design
If you decide to continue beyond the two-hour consultation, I work with you to ensure that you avoid common costly mistakes and have a space that flows, functions, and looks the way you intend it. The services include helping you choose materials and finishes, furnish the space, and finalize other design details.
$4,00.00 (20 hour retainer for large projects such as kitchens and baths)
Color
My specialty is color, which goes beyond just paint. If you’ve ever been in a space where everything seems to make sense, it’s probably because the undertones of all the materials and finishes live well together. I use large painted color boards to select the best possible options for your space.
Each project is unique with pricing based on the amount of detail requested, and is charged at my hourly design rate.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How much will it cost to hire your services for our project?
As each client and every project is different, so is the need for design services. On average, expect to invest 15% -20% of the overall cost of the project on design services. For example, if the cost of the project is estimated at $25,000, design services could range between $2500 to $5000. This will depend on how much involvement you wish to have in sourcing items and the time in which it takes to finalize selections and make decisions. It is also important to understand that each change or alteration may affect other aspects of the design which in turn could increase the time needed to spend ensuring the overall plans are not compromised.
Do you get trade discounts and if so, do you pass these on to us?
Depending on where an item is sourced from, you may benefit from the discounts I receive from suppliers and retailers. It is important to note that every supplier is different with regards to their terms as well as the percentage they offer, if any. And keep in mind that if you do receive a designer discount, this will offset some of the cost of my design services. Having said that, I’m finding that more and more clients are opting to purchase their own items to receive points on their credit card.
Are we involved in the design process and how can we work with you to get the most out of the experience?
Design projects are very much a collaborative process between me and you as my client(s). The ‘getting to know you’ phase at the start of the project helps me to understand your needs and your lifestyle. I ask many questions and discuss in depth your requirements for each space. My goal is to make the process as simple and stress-free as possible.
While working together, I build a partnership with you and establish trust. When you allow me full creative rights, I am able to design a beautiful and functioning space that is distinctly you. One small change in a fabric, an area rug, or a piece of artwork acquired outside of my design can compromise the entire project. So, sit back, relax, and permit me to do what I do best.
